our story
STATE OF HER began with a simple question: what does it mean to dress a woman who is always in motion — between states of work, movement, freedom, escape, and ease? We didn't want a brand built around seasons or trends. We wanted one built around how a woman actually moves through her day.
Every piece we make starts from fabric first — linen, lycra, soft crepe — chosen for how it feels against skin that's rushing to a meeting, catching a flight, or finally sitting still. The silhouettes came second, shaped around real bodies in real states, not a single idea of what 'effortless' should look like.
We're a small team that cares more about getting the fit right than getting to market fast. That hasn't changed since day one, and it won't.
